Tomorrow, April 24, I will be heading to New York with a friend for the Renaissance of Roland Barthes Interdisciplinary Conference on Critical Theory. There she will be delivering a paper entitled "Evelina and Its Mirrors: Beyond the Female Author through Barthes' Writerly Reader" on Thursday. After this we plan on not returning until Sunday. WE plan on going to the MET and American Museum of Natural History and whatever else floats our boat.
